The police body cam footage of the incident involving Dolphins star Tyreek Hill has been released.

Miami-Dade Police Department officers pulled over and cited Hill for reckless driving on Sunday, according to ESPN's Jeff Darlington . The incident happened about three hours before the Dolphins kicked off their season against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Hill was released shortly after being detained and played in the game, registering seven catches for 130 yards and a touchdown.

The newly released nearly four-minute clip shows police pulling over Hill in his black McLaren 720S. The five-time All-Pro receiver initially rolls his window down to speak to the police before rolling it back up. The officers ask him to roll the window back down and can be heard saying they'd "break" the window if Hill did not comply.

"We're not playing this game," an officer says before pulling Hill out of the car and putting him on the ground face down in handcuffs.

Hill appeared to be on the phone with his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, as police put his hands behind his back.

"Hey Drew. I'm getting arrested Drew," Hill can be heard saying.

Rosenhaus has slammed the police for their treatment of Hill during the incident.

“Tyreek was just trying to get to work, trying to play a game, just trying to do his job,” Rosenhaus told CNN . “For police officers to detain him, to put him on the ground like that, to put their knee on him, to hit him – it’s just devastating.”

The video has quickly gained traction online, with many notable names weighing in.

"This is absolutely disgusting, demoralizing and downright sad. There are no words to rationalize this behavior from the Miami-Dade Police," NFL insider Jordan Schultz wrote on X. "Here’s my question: What if this wasn’t Tyreek Hill? What happens then? And how many times per day in this country does this occur?"

Hill reflected on the incident after Sundayʻs game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

"Right now, I'm still trying to put it all together ... I still don't know what happened," Hill said. "But I do want to use this platform to say, 'What if I wasn't Tyreek Hill?' Worst-case scenario, you know? ... Everybody has bad apples in every situation, but I want to be able to use this platform to figure out a way to flip this and make it a positive on my end and Miami-Dade and do something positive for the community.

"It's hard. I don't want to bring race into it, but sometimes it gets kind of iffy when you do. What if I wasn't Tyreek Hill? Lord knows what those guys would have done. I just wanted to make sure I was doing what my uncle always told me to do whenever you're in a situation like that -- put your hands on the steering wheel and just listen."

A representative from the police union claimed that Hill was at fault for failing to be "immediately cooperative" with officers. The police department, however, declined to comment on the union's statement, citing the ongoing internal affairs investigation, which must be completed before any public discussion of the incident can take place.

One of the officers involved had been placed on administrative duties while the investigation is being conducted, per NBC.

Just drive the speed limit on the way to the game or go in a limo but don’t drive like you are an over entitled punk.
