Although ESPN did not broadcast the National Anthem on Monday night before the New York Jets and San Francisco 49ers season opener, the moment still made waves on social media.

Levi's Stadium was packed with 49ers fans, but all eyes were on NFL superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers , making his highly anticipated return after a torn Achillies ended his season on "Monday Night Football" last year against the Buffalo Bills .

Adding to the night's excitement, iconic R&B group Boyz II Men delivered a stirring rendition of the National Anthem, setting the stage for what promises to be a thrilling matchup.

The post on Levi's Stadium's X account quickly went viral, amassing over 8,000 views within just five minutes of being posted.

Boyz II Men, the Philadelphia-based group founded in 1985, showcased their renowned harmonies before the 49ers' home opener. Known for their exceptional vocal performances, the trio has earned four Grammy Awards over their 20-year career.

Why do performers feel they have to change something in this song. It's beautiful in it's original melody/form!
