Skip Bayless has continued to release unfiltered takes on the National Football League since retiring from his popular show 'Undisputed' earlier this year.

Bayless did not hold back in his assessment of quarterback Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets' Monday Night Football performance vs. the defending NFC Champion San Francisco 49ers in comments posted to his X account after the game.

"Aaron threw a nice ball early to Garrett Wilson," Bayless said . "He threw a nice ball up the seam to (Allen) Lazard, a post route (for) a later touchdown...Had a couple drops.

"Once the Niners started to pressure him, he got a little flinchy, a little happy-footed, a little quick on the draw. He was late on the interception...Late on a couple other throws underneath," Bayless continued.

He then questioned Rodgers' heart for the position and the Jets' leadership.

"Because he's a 40-year-old quarterback whose heart really isn't in to standing strong in the pocket and taking much of any kind of punishment or pressure," he added.

"This is a Big Apple team in the Jets that feels rotten to the core to me because I'm not sure there's a core of leadership there because Aaron's no leader."

Bayless called the Jets' current team the most talented Rodgers has ever had around him, but ultimately concluded that he believes they will miss the playoffs.

"I think at some point, the Jets will crash, they will burn, and they will miss the playoffs," Bayless said.
