Tom Brady responded to Scott Hanson on Monday night after the NFL RedZone host apologized for his comments during the seven-time Super Bowl champ's broadcasting debut.

Brady made his highly anticipated premiere in the Fox broadcast booth during the Cleveland Browns' matchup against the Dallas Cowboys. His performance drew mixed reviews.

Adding to the conversation, Hanson’s playful jab at Brady during the broadcast quickly gained momentum. Hanson said Brady lacked enthusiasm as Cowboys kicker Brandon Aubrey lined up for a 71-yard field goal attempt.

“Oh come on! Brady’s gotta get more excited than that in the booth,” Hanson said .

Hanson emphasized that his comment was not ill-intentioned and expressed his genuine hope for Brady's success in his new career.

"This was unfair & inconsiderate by me. Yes, I was saying it tongue in cheek - but I didn’t calculate how it may come across," Hanson wrote on X ." Tom Brady, I apologize. I promise I am rooting you on in this new venture!"

Brady quickly cleared things up with Hanson, promising to lose his mind if he ever witnesses a 70-yard kick while on the call.

"This rookie appreciates you Scott Hanson! No apology necessary my man, life is too short to not have fun!" Brady said. "We’re officially on 70 yarder watch and I’m gonna spike my headset when it happens."

Brady will be in Dallas for Week 2 as the Cowboys host the New Orleans Saints.
