Princess of Wales is cancer free

Yesterday, Princess Kate released a video saying that she has completed her chemotherapy and that she is now cancer free.

This journey has been difficult for the Princess of Wales after she revealed in March that pre-cancerous cells were discovered during abdominal surgery. During that entire time, she was receiving chemotherapy treatments.

Many question that she could be cancer free, but the explanation given was that the chemotherapy treatments were preventative in nature. Some people will always look to rain on the parade of others, but we all must remember that we should never allow for criticism to take away from our enjoyment of life on a daily basis.

However, she will need more time to recover to full health. She also stated this fact in the above video.

"Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long and I must continue to take each day as it comes."

Taking things day-by-day is the correct approach to have in regards to recovery because the side effects of chemotherapy can last for months after treatment is completed.
