    Man found dead inside hospital catering oven as cops probe mystery ‘sudden’ death

    A MAN has been found dead inside a hospital catering oven – as cops launched an urgent probe into the mystery death.

    Police were called to Kettering General Hospital after the man’s body was discovered on Friday 6 September.

    The area was cordoned off while officers investigated the scene.

    Northamptonshire Police have since confirmed they are not treating the death as suspicious.

    No details have been released as to how the man came to be in the oven and the hospital said they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the tragedy.

    A Northamptonshire Police spokeswoman said: “Police officers were called to the sudden death of a man at Kettering General Hospital on Friday, September 6.

    “We are not treating this death as suspicious and will be preparing a report for the coroner.

    “Our thoughts are with the man’s family and friends at this time.”

    University Hospitals of Northamptonshire NHS Group chief nurse, Julie Hogg said: “We are working with Northamptonshire Police so that they can complete a report for the coroner into the circumstances of this tragic incident.

    “Our thoughts are with the man’s family and loved ones. We will not be commenting further at this time.”

    The shocking news comes after another devastating hospital death.

    A woman tragically died after being given too much local anaesthetic during a hip surgery.

    Dr Rachel Gibson, 47, went into cardiac arrest and suffered irreversible brain damage following her surgery at Spire Lea Hospital in Cambridge .

    Meanwhile, a distraught mum shared how her dead son’s body parts were removed by docs without permission.

    The heartbroken mum had was forced to bury her son for a third time after discovering his body matter was held in a top NHS hospital for nearly thirty years after he died.

    June Dunn, 65, first laid her 12-year-old boy Ben Mallia to rest in 1997 after he died while suffering from a one-in-a-million brain condition.
