Drive-By Shooting on Pasco County Trail, Suspect at Large

The Pasco County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect involved in a shooting that took place on August 3, 2024, around 6:40 p.m. in the Trilby Rd. area of Dade City.

According to deputies, the suspect drove westbound past two individuals walking along the Withlacoochee State Trail, then turned the vehicle around, slowed down, and fired one shot out of the back passenger window. One of the individuals was struck and transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male teenager wearing a red or burgundy pullover hoodie. He may have been driving a 2012 to 2019 Nissan Versa.
