Police body camera video shows Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill hesitant to roll his window down after initial contact with police, but retired Los Angeles Police Department Capt. Jerry Rodriguez tells NewsNation’s “Morning in America” that the officers should have had “situational awareness” to recognize Hill was a player, adding there is no law that mandates windows must be rolled down during traffic stops. When officers feel their orders are not followed, they tend to react, Rodriguez says, and he calls the officers’ actions “ugly.”

No law that the window has to be rolled down all the way, partial to give necessary ID and papers. Exceptions are allowed for dark or tinted windows, officer's safety. Cops can ask a driver to exit the vehicle, it can be abused.
