    Police Searching For Arsonist Who Targeted Two Vehicles In Lauderhill

    Lauderhill, FL - Lauderhill police are investigating an arson incident that occurred early Sunday morning, where an unidentified individual set two cars on fire.

    An unidentified individual poured gasoline on two cars parked in a driveway on the 900 block of NW 34th Terrace, setting them ablaze.

    The incident happened around 4:30 a.m., and the suspect, described as wearing a light-colored hooded sweatshirt and carrying a backpack, fled the scene after igniting the gasoline.

    The Lauderhill Fire Department responded to the fire and successfully extinguished it before it spread to the nearby residence.

    The two adults inside the home were unharmed.

    Lauderhill police, in partnership with the Lauderhill Fire Department and the State Fire Marshal's Office, are actively investigating the arson.

    Anyone with information about the suspect or the incident is urged to contact Broward County Crime Stoppers at 954-493-TIPS.

    Tips can be submitted anonymously, and there is a reward of up to $5,000 available for information leading to an arrest.
