Luke Combs' Category 10 Bar: Everything to Know

We now know when Luke Combs‘ long-awaited Category 10 bar, restaurant and music venue will open, along with plenty of details about the new downtown space. The North Carolina native reveals that Category 10, which he is opereating in partnership with Opry Entertainment, will open on November 10, 2025.

Category 10 will have five different entertainment experiences: The Honky-Tonk, Hurricane Hall, The Still, 5 Leaf Clover and The Eye.

The front of Category 10 will be The Honky-Tonk, a two-story area with two bars, a retail shop and a main stage for live music.

Located on the first floor and in the middle of Category 10 is Hurricane Hall, with the largest dance floor and stage in downtown Nashville, complete with an immersive light and sound experience. Hurricane Hall is equipped for line-dancing and will also be available for ticketed concert events, with a capacity of up to 1500 guests. Both the Beer Never Broke My Heart and the Neon Dream Bar will also be located inside Hurricane Hall.

Inspired by Combs’ career as a songwriter, The Still, located on the second floor, is described as an “intimate and elevated lounge setting,” complete with a large selection of bourbon, curated by Combs. The Still is also designed for Combs’ Bootleggers Fan Club, bourbon aficionados, songwriters and music lovers.

5 Leaf Clover Sports Bar, named after Combs’ “5 Leaf Clover” song is located on the third floor, with a mixture of both lounge and table seating, coupled with massive screens to showcase all major sports playing year-round, along with a real-time sports ticker wrapped around the room.

Debuting in early 2025, The Eye will boast the largest outdoor deck in the Broadway area, with a 7000-square-foot rooftop, and views of both the Cumberland River and Nissan Stadium.

When announcing the opening of Category 10, the Grand Ole Opry member said he wanted a place to honor songwriters, often the unsung heroes in country music.

“It’s important for me, I think, to have opportunities as a songwriter to showcase your ability,” Combs says. “I remember just being able to play for other songwriters was a huge thing for me. So I think having a very, very, very high-end songwriters night would be something that I would love, for new artists to come and be able to play their favorite song, or the best song that they have in front of other songwriters.”

The father of two also wants a place for artists of all calibers, from rising stars to superstars, to be able to play.

“Cat 10 is going to be a place that artists of all levels want to play downtown,” hints Combs. “We are building a spot where we can put on a high-level touring act show one night and a songwriter showcase the next. There isn’t anything like this venue, and I can’t wait for everyone to experience it.”
