Mötley Crüe have announced a string of three intimate October club shows on the Sunset Strip surrounding the release of their new EP, Cancelled , which drops October 4th.

The official news comes after speculation during Labor Day weekend when flyers were spotted around Los Angeles. Billed as the “Höllywood Takeöver.” the Crüe will be returning to their old stomping grounds for gigs at the Troubadour (October 7th); The Roxy (October 9th); and the Whisky a Go Go (October 11th).

Completing the throwback ’80s concert experience, tickets will be available starting Saturday (September 14th) at 10 a.m. PT exclusively at the box offices of the three clubs and sold as “hard tickets” only.

In addition to the intimate shows, Mötley Crüe will be celebrating the new EP with a pop-up store featuring exclusive, band-curated merchandise. It opens a day before the first gig on October 6th at the Rainbow Bar and Grill on the Sunset Strip and remain open through October 12th (3 p.m. PT to midnight daily).

The band has also launched a new philanthropic program, the Mötley Crüe Giveback Initiative, in which the veteran rock act will partner with different non-profit organizations moving forward.

Ahead of the October gigs, Mötley Crüe are hoping to raise $250K for Covenant House, a non-profit organization supporting young people experiencing homelessness. Tickets to the high-demand club shows, as well as stage-played instruments, are going up for auction via the band’s charity site , and a benefit dinner is being held at the Rainbow Bar and Grill on October 8th.

For fans who can’t make it to L.A. in October, there are still few other chances to catch the Crüe live before the end of the year — namely festival appearances at Louder Than Life and Aftershock (get tickets here ).
