Pittsburgh Steelers running back Jaylen Warren took some friendly fire from his quarterback, Justin Fields, during the Week 1 win over the Atlanta Falcons .

Warren had a rough go of it in Week 1, as not only did he only have just two carries for seven yards and two catches for 13 yards, he also got accidentally kicked in the family jewels by Fields.

It happened on the failed fourth-and-1 play midway through the fourth quarter. The Steelers called a QB sneak for Fields, who was stuffed at the line of scrimmage by Atlanta's defense.

While trying to fight for that one yard, Fields' leg went flying up in the air and unfortunately Warren's groin was there to meet it (H/T Steelers Depot ).

It what was a true showing of the bro code, even Falcons edge rusher Matthew Judon checked on Warren to see if he was OK. Some things are just bigger than football.

Warren's light workload in Week 1 might have been a case of the Steelers easing him back in after he missed significant time ahead of the season-opener due to a hamstring injury he suffered during the preseason.

Assuming he's OK after taking that stray leg, Warren is likely to see more touches in the Week 2 game against the Denver Broncos on Sunday.
