Strahan was back in business on Fox NFL Sunday this week after a long offseason away from the game.

However, his return to football activities isn’t keeping him away from his duties on Good Morning America .

Strahan returned to the show this week to resume his role as an anchor after previewing NFL action on Sunday morning.

He wore his usual snazzy suit on both Fox NFL Sunday and Good Morning America, but dressed down once his obligations were finished.

Strahan was spotted in New York leaving the set of GMA in more casual attire.

He sported a pair of white shorts and a blue sweatshirt, complimented with white running shoes.

Strahan acknowledged the crowd around him as he made his way out of the studio.

The legendary former New York Giant had a great return to Fox NFL Sunday, and shared some laughs about his former team.

The Giants kicked off their season with a game against the Minnesota Vikings, and the Fox NFL Sunday crew didn’t give them much love ahead of kickoff.

Jimmy Johnson started the analysis by mentioning the additions that the Giants made in the offseason, including pass rusher Brian Burns.

He then moved on to the negatives, speaking about quarterback Daniel Jones and head coach Brian Daboll, and how it is a “make-or-break” year for them.

Johnson finished his analysis, and the crew moved on to the next game, but Strahan didn’t forget how Johnson spoke about his former team.

“First of all, thank you for the hope with the Giants,” he said.

    “There’s hope,” Johnson replied.

“[You] didn’t give me much [hope] there,” Strahan added.

    Michael Strahan's NFL career

Michael Strahan is one of the most recognizable faces on television.

But he came into his media career off the back of a hugely successful stint in the NFL.

Strahan spent 14 years all with the New York Giants from 1993 to 2007.

He was a seven-time Pro Bowler and helped them win the Super Bowl in 2007 – ending the New England Patriots’ hopes of a perfect season.

Strahan was also a two-time NFL sacks leader and also won Defensive Player of the Year.

The ex-Giants star set the single-season sack record with 22.5 in 2001 – a feat which was matched by J.J. Watt exactly 20 years later.

He is one of the best defensive stars to have ever played the game – finishing with 141.5 career sacks and 854 tackles.

Fox went on to broadcast the matchup between the Giants and Vikings after the completion of Fox NFL Sunday, and unfortunately for Strahan it wasn’t a great showing.

The Giants got blown out 28-6 and didn’t score a single touchdown in the route.

Quarterback Daniel Jones threw for just 186 yards and couldn’t connect for a touchdown, but did throw two interceptions. One of his picks went back for a Vikings touchdown.

The Giants were subject to a chorus of boos during the game, and it looks like it is going to be a long season for Big Blue.

They face off against the Washington Commanders on Sunday for their Week 2 matchup, looking to bounce back versus rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels.

Donald Modzelewski, they are committed to winning football and basketball games for the fans such as yourself. Do you have a favorite NBA or NFL team ? Their contribution is winning games for unappreciated fans.
