Bold and the Beautiful Showrunner Bradley Bell Hints At A Major Twist, Luna Will Return 'Soon'

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers tease the CBS daytime drama's big killer twist, which shocked viewers. Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) killed both Tom Starr (Clint Howard) and Paul "Hollis" Hollister (Hollis W. Chambers). he also nearly killed Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood).

Most B&B viewers knew Steffy wasn't really going to die, but that doesn't mean the show is done with Luna's crime spree.

B&B's head writer and executive producer Bradley Bell recently hinted at more deadly plans when talking to Deadline.

Bell first talked about Sheila Carter's (Kimberlin Brown) fake death earlier this year. As many guessed, Sheila was alive - it was "Sugar," aka Janet Webber (also Kimberlin Brown), who died at the cliff house.

The showrunner explained that sometimes bad guys need to step back for a while. This has happened with Sheila before, though she's now trying to be good with Deacon Sharpe (Sean Kanan).

While Sheila seems to always survive, not everyone on The Bold and the Beautiful is so lucky. Bell said killing off a character for good means losing a lot of history. He thought back to when they killed Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) in 2012 after Flannery decided to leave soaps. But sometimes, the story calls for a death—especially if it keeps things exciting.

"It's always scary and hard to say goodbye, but it's needed," Bell said. You have to kill characters now and then to keep your writing believable. And I tell myself every year I'm going to kill more people."

Bell points out that Luna may not be done with her killer chaos. Celeb Dirty Laundry hinted that Lisa Yamada could return soon but refused to commit to a time frame.

The Bold and the Beautiful hints that trouble could be coming, especially since Luna is likely in one of those quiet periods Bell mentioned. Could Luna cause more deadly drama later on?

B&B fans, do you think Luna will be back soon? Keep watching The Bold and the Beautiful, airing weekdays on CBS and streaming on Paramount Plus. Please share your thoughts with me in the comments section below. Remember to follow me to read more of my content.
