Boeing USED to be an elite place to work. Employees were proud to work there. Good pay good benefits, healthcare, vacation and sick pay, retirement. There was gov oversight, regulations and doors never fell off. Trains crash and ruin communities and planes crash because corporation's have run amok w no oversight. Federal government regs are there to protect human health and welfare, ya know, the stuff Republicans and Trump and corporations gut and dispose of after millions of dollars are spent writing the laws, passing them, writing the regs and guidance and inspections and oversite and enforcement to keep americans safe. Federal enforcement means national consistency. States cannot do it piecemeal or you'd get places in the south like Texas w most the corporations as their land water and air are trashed by corporate greed. Fun fact, EPA was not allowed during GW Bush administration to use the words "climate change" in any speech or writing.
