The Chick-fil-A location at 10300 Forest Hill Blvd Fc108 in Wellington, Florida, was cited for six violations, including five high-priority infractions, during a routine food inspection by the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation.

State records indicate that local residents can still continue to enjoy their meals while the restaurant, located in Palm Beach County, addresses the noted issues.

During the inspection conducted on September 9, 2024, inspectors identified five high-priority violations alongside one basic violation.

While none posed an immediate risk to public health, they highlighted areas needing improvement.

The high-priority violations included concerns about handwashing practices, food-contact surface sanitation, and temperature control for safety food items.

Specifically, the inspector's note revealed that employees began food preparation without adequate handwashing after handling raw food, resulting in cross-contamination risks.

Also noted was the failure to adequately clean food contact surfaces after preparing food. Furthermore, a time/temperature control violation was observed when yellow American cheese was found stored above the safe temperature threshold of 41°F.

Meanwhile, the basic violation addressed soiled dry wiping cloths that were incorrectly used and stored.
