The Las Vegas Raiders made a roster move on Tuesday, signing defensive end K'Lavon Chaisson , a former Jacksonville Jaguars and Carolina Panthers defender. With injuries to the position group by Malcolm Koonce and Tyree Wilson, Chaisson could find himself with a role there.

They also made one other signing in cornerback Kyu Blu Kelly, a guy many of Raider Nation may not know. Here is a bit of information on the newest addition to the practice squad:

Raiders sign Kyu Blu Kelly to practice squad

Kelly attended Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, where he was named first-team All-State as a senior, ao, he's a bit of a local guy. He played at Stanford from 2019 to 2022.

During his time at Stanford, Kelly was recognized as an honorable mention All-Pac-12 Conference player as a sophomore and second-team All-Pac-12 in both his junior and senior years. He recorded 148 tackles, 26 passes defensed, and three interceptions, with one returned for a touchdown.

Kelly was drafted in the fifth round (157th overall) of the 2023 NFL Draft by the Baltimore Ravens. After being waived by the Ravens, he was claimed by the Seattle Seahawks, then the Green Bay Packers, and finally the Washington Commanders, all within his rookie year.

Now, he's back home trying to make a name for himself. Who knows what he can accomplish, too.
