Per the new film Stinky Summer, Olivia -- lost in the shadow of her parents’ busy lives -- is whisked away to summer camp while her parents chase their latest tech invention. Struggling with self-doubt, she is able to bond with a group of campers. But as things seem to be getting better, sinister forces conspire to steal her dad’s groundbreaking app. With her newfound friends -- a lovable skunk included -- Olivia’s summer adventure transforms into a daring quest against international spies, uniting her cabin mates and furry friend in a thrilling battle to protect her family’s legacy.

Now out in theaters and scheduled for released to digital and on-demand outlets later this week on September 10th, Stinky Summer was written and directed by Amanda Raymond and Jenna St. John. The Epic Pictures release stars Oakley Bull, Francesca Capaldi, Amber Gwin, Elias Christeas, Helen Day, Daniel Ross and Towanda Underdue. It was produced by Carlo Glorioso and Cory Okouchi and runs 90 minutes in length.

In September 2024, I had the pleasure of speaking with Stinky Summer stars Oakley Bull and Amber Gwin via Zoom, as embedded above and set to air via the Long Beach, New York-based Paltrocast With Darren Paltrowitz television series. Beyond Stinky Summer, we discussed upcoming projects for Bull and Gwin, music, Maryland and whether either has attended summer camp before.
