Week 1 didn't go how the Raiders planned, they're heading into week 2 behind the eight ball at 0-1, looking to at least make it to .500 on Sep. 15.

While week one ended in a loss, some Raiders players still managed to stand out, and now PFF has ranked the highest-rated players on the team.

It should come as no surprise that four of the top five rated Raiders players are on defense. The Raiders offense heavily underperformed against the Chargers, really allowing the defense to fill the a majority top five by default.

Robert Spillane coming out on top is a good indicator that last season wasn't a fluke and that the Raiders have truly found a starting middle linebacker. Spillane finished the game with 10 tackles according to ESPN a hot start to a long season.

The biggest surprise on the list is how low Maxx Crosby is. Being in the top five in anything usually isn't considered low, bit this is Crosby we're talking about. According to ESPN Crosby finished his week 1 performance with five tackles, and one sack. Those aren't exactly the all-pro numbers he usually puts up but it was Week 1 and he was going against first-round pick out of Notre Dame Joe Alt.

The Raiders will really need some offensive players to add some competition to the top-five list if they want to have a chance against the Baltimore Ravens in week 2. The defense is carrying their weight, now it's time for Gardner Minshew to pull it together and hold onto the ball.
