The calls for change at the top of the New York Jets organization are already pouring in after just one week of the NFL season.

Sports podcast personality and Jets fan Jon Weiner -- known more commonly by his nickname "Stugotz" -- of the "Dan LeBatard Show With Stugotz" called on the organization to fire head coach Robert Saleh on September 10 -- one day after New York lost to the San Francisco 49ers by a score of 32-19 on Monday Night Football.

"Robert Saleh should be fired," Stugotz said in Hour 2 of Tuesday's podcast . "They're gonna wait until he loses a couple more games. I would have fired him today."

Stugotz made the comment after lamenting Saleh's decision not to challenge the spot of the football after running back Breece Hall appeared to make a first down on a critical drive. The Jets ran the next play -- a 2nd down with 1 yard to go -- and ended up punting two plays later.

"What if [Bill] Belichick calls?" Stugotz asked in animated fashion. "What do you do?"

Saleh is entering his fourth year as the Jets head coach after serving as the defensive coordinator with the 49ers for four seasons between 2017-20. He has never won more than seven games in New York and has a combined regular-season record of 18-34 since accepting the position in 2021.

Belichick, meanwhile, is currently working as a media personality across several outlets. He has a head coaching record of 302-165 , not including the many playoff games that he has coached and won.

He was also the head coach of nine Super Bowls teams and won six championships with the New England Patriots between 2000-23.

Belichick served as the head coach of the Cleveland Browns for four seasons between 1991-94, where he earned a regular-season record of 31-33.

Saleh isn’t a bad coach, every year it’s something different with players tho.
