As part of the California Jobs First initiative, the California Film Commission (CFC) has awarded $58 million in tax credits to five television projects under the state’s Film and Television Tax Credit Program. These productions, including a recurring series, a limited series, and three new series, are expected to generate significant economic benefits, injecting approximately $386 million into California’s economy during 438 filming days statewide.

The projects will directly support local businesses and create employment opportunities across the state, with an estimated 15,869 background performer days, 1,196 crew members, and 685 cast members set to be employed.

“California’s iconic entertainment industry continues to create jobs in our communities while fostering creativity and economic growth,” said Governor Gavin Newsom. “Through this tax credit program, we’re keeping thousands of jobs here in California and helping the industry expand in the state.”

The productions receiving tax credit awards include 20th Television’s legal drama All’s Fair, Faith Media Distribution’s Lot Patrol, and HBO’s original drama series Latitude, among others.
