Seattle is set to experience more fall-like conditions as a series of low-pressure systems move through the region this week, bringing widespread rain and cooler temperatures. According to the National Weather Service, rain is expected to begin tonight along the coast, reaching the Puget Sound area overnight. Rainfall totals could reach half an inch in coastal areas, with lower amounts in the interior.

Temperatures will dip into the 60s on Wednesday, with the possibility of isolated thunderstorms, particularly near the coast and south of Puget Sound. A brief break in the rain is expected Thursday, with temperatures rising slightly before more showers return later in the week. A stronger front may arrive by Monday or Tuesday.
