Right Fumes Over Debate, Alleging ‘Bias’ From Hosts: ‘Why Did the Moderators Need Kamala Harris There at All?’

Prominent conservatives fumed at ABC News moderators David Muir and Linsey Davis after Tuesday night’s presidential debate in Philadelphia.

Former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris squared off for just over 90 minutes about a number of topics. The moderators pressed Trump on a number of his claims, including his insistence that some migrants who entered the country are eating pets in Ohio. He received a fact-check on that and several other claims he made throughout the debate.

During and after the debate, people behind a number of popular X accounts fretted that Trump might have damaged himself among undecided voters after losing his composure.

Meanwhile, there was no shortage of complaints that Muir and Davis had stacked the deck against the former president and 2024 Republican Party nominee.
