A Golden Retriever named Maisy Riv is going viral for her sweet gestures toward her deaf canine sibling, Levi Rou. The parents of the affectionate duo share moments of friendship between the two on their TikTok and Instagram accounts, which have garnered quite a lot of followers. About two years ago, Maisy became a part of the family after Levi’s owners felt he needed a playmate. They have been inseparable ever since and are often seen playing fetch in the backyard or watching the golden hour together.

Levi, who is a mini Australian Shephard , was brought home with two of his siblings when he was only nine weeks old. In one of the videos, the owners reminisce about their first encounter with the sweet pup. They fell in love with him in no time. Levi seemed to be much more calm and composed than his siblings. He didn’t even show any interest in squeaky toys, which was unlikely for pups his age. His behavior was odd, but they didn’t think much of it at that time. However, after days of observing his moves, they became certain of his deafness.

Maisy also seems aware of her older brother’s situation and is extremely protective of him. The viral video shows her gently waking him to let him know their human parents are home. She hops on the sofa and softly nudges him with her nose. Levi, who is familiar with the move, wakes up from his slumber at once.

Levi also tries to return Maisy’s favor. An Instagram video shows him taking care of his sister. His parents call it a “Full Circle Moment” in the caption. Moreover, Levi’s favorite activity includes sitting by the windowpane and watching over the house.
