FL Winn Dixie In Shopping Center With Bealls, TJ Maxx, & Beef O'Brady's Confirmed To Become An Aldi

Depending on how Tampa shoppers feel about Aldi, they'll either be happy or upset about the news that a Winn Dixie there will be converting to Aldi.

By now, most Floridians are aware of Aldi's purchase of hundreds of Winn Dixie grocery stores last year. Because of this, some of Florida's Winn Dixie stores will be converted to Aldi. There's been no specific announcement as to exactly which stores will convert, so we're left getting confirmations piecemeal.

I've written about Winn Dixie stores in Panama City, Panama City Beach, Lakeland, Deltona, Pensacola, and the Villages converting. And now a Winn Dixie in a Tampa shopping center will be making the change as well.

About The Store And Shopping Center In Question: The shopping center in question, Northdale Promenade, has a Bealls, TJ Maxx, Beef O'Brady's, Crunch, Ultra, and Daiso.

The shopping center earns 4.5 out of 5 stars on Google reviews. Many mention the convenience of having so many retailers in one place. A reviewer with the handle Sunshine wrote:

"Love this plaza. This is my favorite Winn Dixie plus other shops like TJMaxx and Bealls for a great shopping experience. Additionally (I) love that there is now an Ulta in this plaza as well as Crunch Fitness. Plus a few food options, Wok on By, Beef O'Brady's, and Smoothie King."

About The Winn Dixie In Question: The Winn Dixie in Northdale Promenade appears to be quite well-received, earning 4.3 out of 5 stars, having been reviewed over 1,100 times on Google reviews. A reviewer named Darcee wrote, in part:

"It's so conveniently located for me that I'd give them 5 stars just for that but they deserve 5 for many more reasons. They have great selections, including their own store brands that are both reasonably priced and high quality. The staff is exceptionally polite and helpful...You earn points as well as getting special sales...Good deal all around."

The Aldi Conversion: An Aldi spokesperson reportedly confirmed to the Tampa Beacon that the Aldi located at 15692 N. Dale Mabry Highway will “close for renovations in late September and reopen to the community as an ALDI over the next several months.”

The author is not affiliated with Aldi, Winn Dixie, or any other grocers or retailers.

Winn Dixie was not reasonably priced! Unless it was a sale, this particular location was Double the Price of even Walmart! They never had any of their advertised Deli meats. Publix has more reasonable prices than Winn Dixie did. An ALDIs will definitely be better in this location.
