Week 1 of the NFL is the books. A couple of key upsets, the usual suspects putting on a performance, and a couple players got PAID!

IS JALEN HURTS MARRIED?
Although Eagles fans are happy with a week one win, the women who have a crush on Jalen Hurts are feeling betrayed by the betrothal. Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback Jalen Hurts could be off the market officially, after his girlfriend Bry Burrows was recently spotted with what seems to be a hefty engagement on her ring finger.
Neither Jalen Hurts or Bry Burrows have made an official announcement on social media in regards to taking their relationship to the next level. However, we do know that the couple has been together for quite some time so this appears to be a legit. Hopefully we will have confirmation from either half of the couple in the near future.
You can’t cheat a cheetah!
We are sure Tyreek Hill did not have getting arrested hours before his game Sunday morning on his bingo card, but it happened. After his released, he proceeded to the stadium where he torched the Jaguars defense for an 80 yard touchdown. Hill celebrated by putting his hands behind his back, referencing the police incident from this morning.

Body cam footage of the incident was subsequently released and as of now, the Miami-Dade police are internally investigating the incident and the aggressive officer has been placed on administrative leave.
Is Burrow an Average Joe?
In a highly anticipated season opener against the less likely patriots, the Bengals were expected to walk away with a win week 1 at home. But it was Jacoby Brissett, Rhamondre Stevenson, and the Patriots defense that went on the road and shocked a Cincinnati crowd. With two sacked allowed and two fumbled lost, the Bengals go back to the drawing board on protecting the ball.

Is it getting good for the Bad New Bears?
A less the glamorous start still was history setting for Caleb Williams. After a week one win, he was the first #1 overall pick to win in his debut since 2002. It was surely not his 93 passing yards that got the job done, but rather the stifling defense with a couple forced turnovers the lead a late-game comeback.

Is AR15’s arm legally registered?
Although Indy did not walk away with a win at home, the crowd definitely was happy with what they saw out of their sophomore quarterback. After what was almost a sack, Anthony Richardson recovered from awkward footing and threw a 60 yard bomb for a touchdown. With a high-powered offense, and a young QB general in Richardson to lead the way, the Colts look pretty promising.

Derek Carr- What’s a sinner to a saint?
After a more disappointing finish in last years campaign, Derek Carr came out firing in week 1 with a huge 49-10 win over the Carolina Panthers. He even had to remind a trash talking defender “I got three touchdowns on you”

Tampa ‘Baker’ Buccaneers
Baker Mayfield’s move to Tampa is paying off. With what seemed to be impossible shoes to fill replacing the Legendary Tom Brady, Mayfield has down an exceptional job thus far. Ending last season with an underdog win over the Eagles, and starting off this season throwing 4 touchdowns, and no interceptions in his week one 37-20 win over the Washington Commanders.

Cowboys Spent the money, Will the Check Clear?
After what seemed to be a holdout on the Cowboys two most notable players, Dallas closed deals with their WR CeeDee Lamb, and QB Dak Prescott hours before the game. CeeDee Lamb to a four-year, $136 million extension, while Dak Prescott agreed to a four-year, $240 million contract that will make him the highest-paid player in NFL history. Copper Kupp is back! Jameson Williams is For Real!
A Sunday night Football game saw the resurgence of NFL superstar receiver Cooper Kupp, as well as Sophomore receiver Jameson Williams.

Kupp, who tore his left ACL and missed the final 6 games of the season, stepped up big as their stud WR Puka Nacua was carted off the field with a knee injury. Jameson Williams’ was sentenced a six-game suspension last year, that was later reduced, for violating the NFL’s gambling policy. He worked hard over the summer to right his wrongs and prove he belonged in the league. The two receivers combined for 19 receptions, 221 yards, and 2 touchdowns, as the Lions eked out a 26-20 overtime win over the Rams.
Rookie Rigged Us?
After last night’s amazing performance from Rookie running back Jordan Mason, He showed his ‘green card’ in his post-game interview by admitting to ESPN reporter Lisa Salters that he knew he would be starting versus the Jets on Friday night, two days prior to the game. The injury report was not put in, nor was the media notified that Christian McCaffrey was going to be inactive for the game until early Monday.
