Fashionable Friends: The Stars Were Out As Who Decides War Unveiled Their New Pelle Pelle Collaboration At Complex’s First NYFW Event

Last Friday (September 6th), Complex officially merged into the fashion game. The media and entertainment company hosted its first-ever New York Fashion Week (NYFW) event in collaboration with the award-inning fashion label Who Decides War . Attendees were able to check out a pop-gallery that showcased a retrospective look at Who Decides War’s journey from 2018 to today. The event also included an exclusive reveal of the brand’s new collaboration with the iconic streetwear company known for its leather jackets and distinctive blend of edge, vibrancy and embellishments, Pelle Pelle.

The collaboration is extremely special considering the fact that it marks Pelle Pelle’s first ever design parternship with another brand. With both brands having a meticulous attention to detail and fondness for full embroidery and diamanté appliqué, the collaboration highlights landmarks of New York City, prolific figures, and a level of craftsmanship that could only be the result of a union such as this one between Who Decides War and Pelle Pelle.

After the gallery exhibition concluded, there was a live discussion with Who Decides War founders Tela D’Amore and Ev Bravado, hosted by Idea Generation (a content series that highlights the journeys, creative processes, and insights of influential figures across various industries). The enlightening conversation was moderated by Complex’s Chief Content Officer Noah Callahan-Bever. In the course of the discussion, presented by Lexus, D’Amore and Bravado talked about the evolution of Who Decides War, its cultural impact and the brand’s future plans.

An event of this magnitude brought out some big names. Celebrity and VIP guests including celebrity jeweler Greg Yuna, Afrobeats sensation Libianca, viral celebrity podcaster Bobbi Althoff, former NBA player Austin Rivers, and many more attended the experience.
