Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl announces new baby, 'born outside of my marriage'

Rock icon Dave Grohl let his fans in on some very personal details, revealing on social media this week that he has recently become a father outside of his 21-year marriage.

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl , married to wife Jordyn Blum since 2003, has revealed this week that he recently became a new dad to a baby daughter born outside of his over two decade relationship with Jordyn. "I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her," Dave said in his statement.

"I've recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage," Grohl explained. "I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We are grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together."

Dave met former model Jordyn in 2001, and they were wed two years later in 2003. The couple shares three daughters; Violet, Harper, and Ophelia.
