Jason Kelce Sends Clear Message to Taylor Swift’s Competitors at the VMAs

Former Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce had some choice words on Wednesday, September 11, for his brother Travis Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, and her competition at the MTV Video Music Awards , set to air Wednesday night at 8:00 p.m. EDT.

Jason Kelce was a cornerstone of the Eagles during his 13-year career, known for his leadership, toughness, and exceptional play before retiring after the 2023 NFL season.

A six-time All-Pro and seven-time Pro Bowler, Kelce anchored one of the NFL’s most dominant offensive lines, playing a pivotal role in Philadelphia’s 41-33 Super Bowl victory over the New England Patriots during the 2017 NFL season.

Beyond his on-field accolades, Kelce’s leadership and deep connection with the city of Philadelphia have made him a beloved figure. Now, that unwavering support extends to his Travis’ girlfriend, world-renowned singer Taylor Swift, ahead of the VMAs.

On their “ New Heights ” podcast, the Kelce brothers discussed the upcoming award show, with Jason making it clear he’s backing Swift all the way.

Travis, while expressing his support for Swift, shared a diplomatic view, saying, “Wishing everyone the best though.”

However, Jason wasn’t as subtle.

“Unless you’re up against Tay, I hope you lose,” Jason said.

Swift leads with 12 nominations , including eight for her “ Fortnight ” music video, two social categories and nominations for Best Pop and Artist of the Year.

The Kelce brothers have shown consistent support for Swift since she and Travis began dating about a year ago.
