Joe Giglio says there is an "obvious" fix to the Philadelphia Eagles' apparent pass rushing deficiency, and that's bring back Haason Reddick.

"There is such an obvious fix to the Eagles' issue, it's such an obvious fix," Giglio said on Wednesday's 94WIP Midday Show with co-host and former Eagles defensive end Hugh Douglas. "Can we establish facts? The Eagles could use a better outside pass rush.

"It strongly feels like the Eagles could use an upgrade at the edge rushing position. Typically, in the month of September, I don't know—star edge rushers who have succeeded in Philadelphia aren't just available...There is a star edge rusher, his name is Haason Reddick and he didn't play for the Jets on Monday and it sounds like he's not going to play for the Jets at all.

"Howie Roseman should call Joe Douglas back, offer him a late round pick, say I'll take him back off of your hands, bring Reddick back here, give him some money and put him on the field. This is the most obvious fix I have ever seen. The Eagles need Haason Reddick. Haason Reddick needs money. Pay Haason Reddick, trade for him back and fix the pass rush!"

Josina Anderson reports there are "no updates" on Reddick, who continues to hold out, forfeiting approximately $800,000 per game missed in the process.

Howie Roseman and the Eagles controversially traded the elite pass rusher on April 1st to the Jets for a conditional third-round draft pick. Roseman then went and signed former Jets defensive end Bryce Huff to a three-year deal worth $51 million in free-agency.

Reddick, 29, is in the final year of a three-year, $45 million contract he signed with the Eagles with no guaranteed money and he wants a new contract.

The Eagles recorded just two sacks in their Week 1 win, both coming from linebacker Zack Baun—one of which came on the last play of the game.

Huff played in just 30 of 67 (44.7%) snaps in Week 1 and was shutout in the box score with zero pressures, sacks and QB hits.
