it is a symptom of a system of governance that feeds on itself in order to grow. you have to understand something. the big power monopolizers are governments, military forces, police forces, religious organizations and large powerful corporations. a central tendency of any power monopolizing organization is to increase its jurisdiction and gain more and more power over individuals and groups in society. in order to do this they must exploit social political and economic problems. social disorganization and crime enable power monopolizers to increase their bases of power. that's their central tendency. after a while they start looking for ways of feathering their own nests and getting more money, more personnel, etc. they need that to aggrandize their bases of power. they need it. they support it. they are clearly causing it. you, the people, or the eternal victims of power.
