Newfoundlands Discover Joy of Cold Foam and Become Mom’s Morning Coffee Crew

Dogs tend to love coffee time. While they can't exactly drink it, there's a lot about coffee that they love: the car ride to go get it, the attention from the baristas, and of course, the pup cup they get at the end. When you make your own coffee at home, you might be saving money, but you're breaking hearts!

Unless you can give them a suitable alternative, of course. On September 7th, there was a dog mom who had to make her morning coffee at home. Though her spoiled pups weren't interested at first, she busted out a can of cold foam and the crowd went wild:

Cocoa and Ollie the Newfs are pup cup puppies, sure, but I'm glad they like cold foam, too! Now mom never has an excuse to skip their morning treat!

Cocoa and Ollie are no strangers to going viral on social media: their Instagram account alone has 122,000 followers, with their TikTok account boasting another 160k! Everybody loves them, and specifically their commitment to being fluffy, friendly, and incredibly dramatic.

Cocoa is the oldest of the two, which meant that she got the first bit of the cold foam! Both Cocoa and Ollie love pup cups, so it's no wonder they enjoyed this so much. Even though it does look like they licked the nozzle (which she got a bit of backlash for last time she posted a similar video), she promises that they did not! If they did, that would just mean that one is for them, and she has to buy another!

    Can Dogs Have Dairy?

The cold foam itself shouldn't be any more concerning to a pet parent than whipped cream is, because cold foam is basically just whipped cream before it reaches stiff peaks - except cold foam is actually typically made with lower-fat dairy. It's better for the pups! For big dogs like Cocoa and Ollie, a little bit like this won't hurt them at all.

Dogs can typically have dairy in small quantities, like a little piece of cheese or a tiny cup of whipped cream. If possible, try giving your pup "lower fat" options, or options that contain less lactose, like parmesan and other harder cheeses. They should only be fed a little bit as a treat: while a bigger dog could have a larger handful, you'll want to give a smaller portion to smaller dogs to reduce the risk of stomach upset.

Be careful with sweetened or flavored items like whipped cream, cold foam, or ice cream; they can be pretty high in sugar, and that's never good. Unless you're Cocoa and Ollie, then oyu think it's great!
