The Foo Fighters frontman hit the headlines on Tuesday after releasing a statement revealing that he had cheated on his wife and fathered a lovechild outside of his marriage. Earlier this year, Dave and his wife Jordyn Blum were spotted at the high-profile tennis tournament, but fans suspected Dave wasn't entirely focused on enjoying the day. In a resurfaced clip from BBC Sport, an interviewer asked Dave his prediction for this year's Wimbledon winner ahead of the final.
"What?" Dave snapped. The interviewer repeated the question but the Foo Fighter star continued to look perplexed and failed to answer. "No clue," he added as he raised his hand up.
"The women's [winner]"' the reporter asked. "Couldn't say," the singer shoots back before moving swiftly away with his wife.
Fans quickly questioned his behavior as one commented: "Dave has been acting slightly p---- recently," while another said: "Are they told not to talk or is he just being awkward? I can't tell."
Several fans leapt to Dave's defence, suggesting the rock singer simply couldn't understand the interviewer. Another quipped: "I loved the first half of this. The second half was a man wanting to say 'please leave me alone' but not wanting to be rude."
Behavior expert Judi James revealed to The Mirror that the awkward clip could shed some light on the state of Dave's marriage. She said: "A look of tension seems to run through each one of these poses and it's a matching pair of signals, with both Grohl and his wife appearing straight-faced and tense together."
Grohl's city slicker outfit seems to come with a newly formal type of body language. His back is straight and his lips are pursed and, for what should have been an enjoyable day out, there's no trace of a smile here.
"When he and his wife sit together their facial expressions look distant and lacking in any form of joy. Both stare straight ahead as they sit upright in their seats. Grohl's wife does try the trace of a polite smile as they walk towards the camera but there is a suggestion of inner tension from the way her free hand is clenched and her arms held rigidly, while Grohl's hand rises to his stomach in a barrier gesture to suggest some form of discomfort or awkwardness."

On Tuesday, he wrote on Instagram: "I've recently become the father of a new baby daughter, born outside of my marriage. I plan to be a loving and supportive parent to her I love my wife and my children, and I am doing everything I can to regain their trust and earn their forgiveness. We're grateful for your consideration toward all the children involved, as we move forward together."
