A popular and scenic spot in Utah is The American Fork Canyon -- Alpine Scenic Loop Backway. This is place to enjoy majestic mountain scenery not far from Salt Lake City, Utah.

Because of the heavy use of recreational areas and resources in the canyon being impacted, fees are collected at the entrance station to improve services. Visitors using the Alpine Loop (State Road 92) who do not use recreation facilities are not subject to the fees.

American Fork is a town in the heart of Utah County not far from Provo where Brigham Young University (BYU) and Utah Valley University (UVU) are located. People pass through American Fork while traveling from Salt Lake City to Provo and points south including to California.

American Fork Canyon is a place of great beauty. It is worth a visit by locals and tourists alike. It will soon be especially beautiful as Autumn leaves bring spectacular color to the area.
