Going to the Times Square Raising Canes location for a New York Fashion Week event might seem a little out of the blue, but for these five influencers, it just so happened to be the box combo they had been looking for.
On Tuesday, September 10, First for Women got to attend an exclusive event with Kelsey Anderson (from Bachelor Nation), Ciara Miller (model and Summer House star), models Brooks and Sarah Nader and track and field star Sam Hurley, where they talked about everything Raising Canes-related.
“ It was great having Brooks, Sarah Jane, Ciara, Kelsey, and Sam at our Global Flagship in Times Square to kick off our New York Fashion Week debut,” Raising Canes’ founder Todd Graves said. “The Varsity and Western lines are fun and different than anything we’ve ever released, and I couldn’t think of better people to model these looks.”

For reality star Anderson in particular, Raising Cane's new clothing line was love at first sight.
“I thought that they looked really cool,” said Anderson. “I think that you can style them in different ways. Obviously, you can dress it up, do the Western look, or dress it down. They're very comfortable. I put it on, and I was like, ‘It's so soft inside.’ So, I'm excited to wear this.”
She also said, “It is very comforting being in New York City, where we're hustling and bustling this week just to eat some [Raising] Canes. I feel like I'm back at home in Louisiana.”
Miller echoed similar thoughts, telling the press, “I'm probably wearing the biggest cowboy hat in Times Square at the moment. But I just feel like this is a perfect partnership. I love to eat food, specifically chicken tenders, and Raising Canes has some of the best food ever.”
She also shared that Raising Canes’ new Western line “ is totally my vibe. Put on some boots and you’re good to go.”

For Texas track and field star Hurley, the brand represents all the athletes who have come before him.
“I think it's amazing. I was just talking about the fact that I've always wanted to take people's orders at the front,” Hurley said. “I feel super blessed to be working with [Raising] Canes as an athlete. I've always thought it was so awesome.”
The long jumper also shared that while the Times Square Raising Canes are cool, he much prefers the original location back in Louisiana, saying that he liked that one's “history” and that his go-to Raising Canes order is “a combo with no coleslaw, extra toast with butter on both sides.”

The last two people to get their hands on some Raising Canes fried chicken were none other than models and sisters Brooks and Sarah Nader.
“We grew up literally right around the corner from the original Raising Canes in Baton Rouge [Louisiana],” revealed Brooks. “It's a special place in our heart. Having a couple of locations now in New York has made our lives so much easier because we don't have to cross state lines to get Raising Canes. Literally, it's a taste of home.”
She also shared that she thinks Raising Canes “nails everything. Clothes, chicken fingers, Texas toast. They don't miss a beat.”
