An Instagram Live video from Shannon Sharpe’s account on Wednesday morning appeared to capture a nearby sexual encounter.

As recordings of that video went viral across social media, the First Take co-host and Nightcap host took to Instagram to claim that his account had been hacked.

Several clips of the reportedly five-minute IG Live made their way onto X, and it’s safe to say that these are NFSW.

In one video , a phone is placed face-down on a desk or table while a woman is heard panting in the background. While the camera looks at the table, we can hear people engaging in sexual activity nearby.

In another part of the video , a man is speaking to the woman during the sexual encounter, saying things such as “Let me put this d*ck in you” and “You know what I like.” He also appears to say, “That’s my Michelle,” at one point. The man’s voice does have a resemblance to Sharpe’s.

At one point during the encounter, the woman refers to the man as “Shannon.”

Shortly after the Live ended, a message was reportedly posted to Sharpe’s account claiming that it had been hacked. While screenshots of the claim made the rounds on social media, it doesn’t appear to be on his account anymore.

“Beware my @shannonsharpe84 Instagram was hacked this morning, my team and I working vigorously to figure this out,” read the post.

Sharpe is likely in for a world of hurt as this video goes mega-viral on social media, and he’ll have to offer further explanation shortly. How this could impact his role at ESPN remains to be seen.

In the meantime, we’re guessing he won’t be lecturing Nightcap co-host Chad Johnson about his professionalism again anytime soon.
