Caitlin Clark and A'ja Wilson have made waves in the WNBA for several reasons, some of them being similar and some of them being different.

Starting with the former, Clark has had an impressive campaign to begin her WNBA career. She is averaging 19.2 points, 8.5 assists, and 5.8 rebounds per game on 42.3% shooting from the field and 34.7% from beyond the arc.

Her aggressive yet selfless playstyle has allowed her break multiple franchise records as well as WNBA records, demonstrating to the basketball world that what she displayed in her college days is legitimate as she aims to become the face of the league in the near future.

On the other hand, A'ja Wilson continues to show why she is one of the best players in the league as she helps the Aces attempt a three-peat. On the verge of completing her seventh WNBA season, Wilson is putting up 27.3 points, 11.9 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game on 52.7% shooting overall and 33.9% from downtown.

Her valuable leadership since the Aces drafted her in 2018 has already earned her two consecutive WNBA championships, two WNBA MVPs, and two Defensive Player of the Year Awards as she continues to stack up her career resume.

Because of their remarkable performances, NBA TV decided to make their stances on the two clear as they face off against each other tonight at 7 p.m. ET. The game, of course, is being broadcast on NBA TV.

Promoting the highly anticipated matchup, NBA TV made a post on social media that named Clark as the frontrunner for the WNBA Rookie of the Year Award and A'ja Wilson for the Most Valuable Player Award.

"The MVP and ROY frontrunners collide," the post read, containing a graphic highlighting the two players.

With several games remaining in the regular season for both teams, having a strong hold on one of the eight playoff spots is absolutely crucial.

The Fever currently hold a 19-17 record for the third spot in the Eastern Conference and the sixth spot in the postseason. For the Aces, they are 22-13 for the second spot in the Western Conference and the fourth spot overall if the playoffs began.

While they don't have to worry about securing a spot since they already achieved that objective, being able to end the season on a strong note to have significant momentum for the playoffs will be surely welcomed.

As for this upcoming matchup, may the best team between the Fever and Aces and star player between Clark and Wilson win.
