With the twin belt drive Sturgis model, from 80 to 83. Took care of the some marking it’s spot. The seal on the transmission can leak. The rubber compensators under the front inner primary pulley can be a problem. By braking belts. The stock ones can be replaced with aftermarket. What is needed is to find someone who is a machinist who can balance the lower end of the motor. I have an’82 and found the correct people who knows all of its ill’s.
