However, the popular host admitted during an interview with The Times that she was surprised by the scrutiny the gig brought. “Everyone keeps checking in with me, ‘Are you OK? Are you handling this all right,” she added.

Deeley even said she would quit “If it [the public attention because of the job] gets too much” for her. “I don’t care. I do not care. If it gets too much for me I’m going to quit. I don’t need to do it. I could stop and be a mum for most of the year, and then go and do the shows in America. There is no ulterior motive for me doing this,” she elaborated.

Cat Deeley previously served as a guest presenter on This Morning after Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby left the show. She seems to have developed a strong bond with her co-host Ben Shephard and his wife Annie and reportedly sought out their advice on parenting. In an interview with Best Magazine, Deeley and Shephard reflected on their dynamic and the part parenthood played in it.
