Rob Gronkowski makes brutal Cincinnati Bengals predictions live on Kay Adams Show in ‘passionate’ rant

ROB Gronkowski has no belief in a potential playoff contender after one week of the NFL season.
The New England Patriots icon, 36, appeared on Kay Adams ‘ Up & Adams program on Wednesday.
Gronkowski saw his Patriots deliver the stunning 16-10 upset over the Cincinnati Bengals in the season-opener.
The former five-time Pro Bowl tight end wasn’t impressed with the Bengals’ performance, and he believes the Joe Burrow-led team will continue to disappoint when they face the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 2.
“The Bengals just aren’t there. I feel like they’re continuing from last year, where they left off,” Gronkowski said.
“They’re just up and down and not consistent at all. I don’t think they got it right now.”
Adams, who’s a known Bengals fan, asked Gronk if he thinks the Bengals will struggle temporarily or miss the playoffs.
The Fox NFL star believes Cincinnati will not make the postseason and that two of the team’s division rivals will instead enter the dance.
“I think they’re gonna miss the playoffs again,” Gronk said.
“Really!?” Adams asked him.
“You got the Baltimore Ravens and you got the Pittsburgh Steelers that will be going to the playoffs,” Gronkowski continued.
“The Cleveland Browns and the Cincinnati Bengals will be in the mix.
“They will be fighting, but they will not make it.”
The Bengals have had a history of underwhelming at the start of the seasons under head coach Zac Taylor.
They have a 1-10 record in the first two weeks of the season since 2019.
Under Burrow, Cincinnati does have a 3-1 record against Mahomes.
Still, the Bengals are coming off a disappointing loss and have question marks offensively.
The team was without injured star wideout Tee Higgins in Week 1 where Burrow posted just 164 yards on 29 attempts.
Superstar Ja’Marr Chase led all receivers with 62 yards on six catches.
Higgins, who injured his hamstring last week, missed Wednesday’s practice and has a chance of missing the Week 2 matchup.
