More than 100 people were at the 9/11 memorial in Haverstraw Bay Park for the county’s annual remembrance of the Sept. 11 attacks that happened 23 years ago. A total of 85 names were read and honored those who either lived in or had previously called Rockland County home when they died that day. There was a tolling of the bell for each moment an attack happened and when the World Trade Center towers fell. When the ceremony ended, many left a rose near or on the name of the person they knew. "Another aspect to this was really making sure generations to come keep it in their mind and we help them to learn from this,” said Kelly Manzi, of Valley Cottage, who lost her brother Richard Bosco. He worked with Citi Bank and was helping out another branch on 9/11. The Rockland ceremony also remembered Robert Fitzpatrick, of Suffern, who died in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. "
