Wide receiver Tee Higgins (hamstring) remains out after tweaking his hamstring last Thursday leading up to Week 1. He spent the afternoon working on the rehab field.

"[He's] making good progress," head coach Zac Taylor said of Higgins prior to practice .

Taylor also mentioned the team will be monitoring tight end Tanner Hudson (knee) this week. Hudson was a DNP along with rookie defensive tackle Kris Jenkins Jr. (thumb) and linebacker Logan Wilson (knee).

Jenkins injured his thumb last week in practice, but it's unclear when Hudson and Wilson's injuries occurred. Wilson was in street clothes Wednesday and didn't work on the rehab field.

The Bengals have already played a game without Jenkins , but not having Wilson playing Sunday would be a big blow for Cincinnati's defense. Tackling was a major weakness in Week 1, and Wilson led the way in that department with zero missed tackles and three defensive stops according to Pro Football Focus.

On the positive side, rookie offensive tackle Amarius Mims (pectoral) was limited and partook in more offensive line drills than he did last week. Defensive tackle B.J. Hill (knee) was limited as well after suffering his injury during Week 1.

As for the Chiefs, wide receiver Marquise "Hollywood" Brown (shoulder) has yet to practice this season after suffering a sternoclavicular joint injury during the first preseason game . He was the only player to not practice Wednesday for Kansas City.
