WWE Resumes Selling Replicas Of CM Punk’s Friendship Bracelet After Making Significant Change

This week, WWE was heavily criticized on social media after they began selling replicas of the friendship bracelet used in the feud between CM Punk and Drew McIntyre. The issue was that the original bracelet had been gifted to Punk during a meet and greet by a fan, and not only were they not getting any royalties, but the company had never even made them aware beforehand. However, after removing the replicas from sale following the backlash, WWEShop.com has now begun selling them again, but this time without the names “ AJ ” and “ Larry ,” opting to use “ CM Punk ” instead.

Why the decision to change the names currently needs to be clarified, although it’s possible it was to differentiate it from the fan-made version and ensure there are no legal issues. Still, @Victoriaaze_ , who created the original, doesn’t seem the type to sue based on her Twitter comments, as all she ever wanted was for the company to give her credit, which seemingly won’t be happening.
