Sarah Boone: State Asks Judge to Strike Battered Spouse Syndrome Defense

The state has now filed a motion asking the judge to strike the notice of intent to use battered spouse syndrome as Sarah Boone’s defense. Sarah Boone is accused of zipping her boyfriend, Jorge Torres Jr., in a suitcase and leaving him to die on Feb. 25, 2020. (9/11/24)
