Real Housewives of Salt Lake City returns on Wednesday, September 18 on Bravo. Now that the cast has had time to recover from the Reality VonTease drama, we’re excited to see what new drama is in store for Season 5.

The ladies of RHOSLC have been through a lot in the last few years, from marriage troubles to seeing their friend get arrested for fraud. While these moments loom large, it hasn’t all been so serious. There have also been some more lighthearted conflicts throughout the years.

Let’s take a look back at some of the silliest storylines on RHOSLC.

Lisa Barlow’s $60K ring went missing on RHOSLC

In Season 4 of RHOSLC, Lisa Barlow lost a $60,000 ring en route to Palm Springs. She thought she dropped it in the public restroom, so the ladies went to work scoping out the area. Monica Garcia even stuck her hand in the waste bin. Unfortunately, the ring was not found. The missing ring saga continued on the bus where Lisa let everyone know how upset she was about the missing item. She talked about it for the remainder of the trip to Palm Springs.

Monica found Lisa’s complaint offputting and decided to confront her about it during a dinner in the desert. She pointed out that most people cannot afford such a luxury item, so it was hard to listen to her talk about it all day. Lisa initially took the feedback in stride but later doubled down. She claimed that even middle-class families have $60,000 rings. Lol. We’re not so sure about that Lisa.

Mary Cosby said, ‘You smell like hospital’ on RHOSLC

One of the earliest RHOSLC storylines was Jen Shah’s feud with Mary Cosby about body odor. At the time, Jen was spending a lot of time in the hospital with her Aunt, who had to have both of her legs amputated. After one of her many visits, Jen met up with some of the girls, including Mary, who alerted her that she “smelt like hospital.”

Mary explained that she is very sensitive to the smell of hospitals. In a confessional, she said the smell takes her to a “very dark place.” Jen was upset by the statement and told Mary she found her words hurtful. Mary stood firm in disdain for “hospital odor,” which set Jen off. She stormed off and yelled, “b*tch, don’t f*cking disrespect my family.”

It was a ridiculous storyline but it really set the tone for RHOSLC.

Heather Gay – the ‘good-time girl’ on RHOSLC

In Season 1, Heather Gay learned that Lisa was spreading rumors about her. Lisa claimed that Heather was a “good-time girl” while studying at Brigham Young University. In one scene, she mimicked “college Heather” by pretending to flash her friend and said, “Honor Code what?”

Heather took offense to Lisa’s comments and denied that she broke any of the BYU rules.

“That is a complete lie and a dig,” she said. “Girl, if I’d gotten around in college, I would not have ended up married with three kids and [then] divorced. I was a virgin when I got married. I would have loved to have been a good-time girl in college. That’s my dream.”

The RHOSLC Star left the church after her divorce and has been open about having regrets about missing out on youthful experiences. She later got revenge on Lisa by releasing a memoir, titled, “Good Time Girl” in 2024.

Bathtub-gate – don’t come for Meredith Marks’ tub time

Season 4 of RHOSLC opened with drama between Meredith Marks and Whitney Rose . Meredith was upset because of a comment Whitney made in an interview with the New York Post. In the interview, Whitney was asked how she feels about Meredith and her husband, Seth Marks, taking baths together. Whitney told the outlet that the idea of bathing with someone “creeped” her out.

Meredith did not appreciate the comment. She confronted her co-star about the interview and it didn’t go so well. Whitney dismissed her concerns, telling her it was just a joke. Meredith didn’t back down. She replied with the iconic line, “It was a dig on my marriage and a dig on my bathtub.”

There are few storylines more ridiculous than bathtub-gate. The fact that an entire season premiere centered around bathtub drama is too perfect for words.

RHOSLC is currently streaming on Peacock.
