Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever are set to face A'ja Wilson and the Las Vegas Aces for the third time this season, but they are still seeking their first win against the defending WNBA champions.

The Fever have been on a tear since the league's return from the Olympic break. In ten games, Indiana has gone 8-2, secured its first winning record in five years and clinched a playoff spot for the first time since 2016.

Before the game, Clark spoke to the media about the upcoming postseason. When asked if she pays attention to playoff seeding, the former Iowa Hawkeyes star revealed the secret to the Fever's recent success.

"Yeah, I think you just play your game," Clark said. "Like, there's just so many possibilities that you can't really start breaking it down. I think it takes away from the focus of the game right in front of you, and I think that's why we were so good coming out of the break is, you know, we were focused one game at a time. We didn't look too far ahead. I think that brought us a lot of success."

Clark then went on to discuss Indiana's potential playoff matchups.

"We already know we're in the playoffs, so whoever we get, we get," Clark added. "There's not too much you can do to control that... So I think for us, it's like go one game at a time. We're here to still win every single game, and you know once the playoffs come around and whoever our matchup is, you'll prepare for that when you cross that bridge."

Prior to the Aces game, the Fever own the sixth seed in the playoffs. If the season ended today, they would be facing the three-seed Connecticut Sun.

With just four games remaining, the Fever still remain hot and will look to take their recent play into the postseason.
