Harry Potter Exhibit Makes Its Way to Boston

Wizards and muggles alike should soon be ready to cast a spell!

This weekend, Boston will start hosting its very own itertation of Harry Potter: The Exhibition. The exhibit has already toured U.S. cities like New York City and Philadelphia as well as cities all over the world. Opening day is scheduled for Friday September 13th.

Fans of the Harry Potter books and movies will be captivated by recreations of iconic settings such as Hagrid's Hut, authentic costumes and props that will be on display and an overall behind the scenes look at not just the main franchise but also its spinoff Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and the Broadway show Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

The experience will even prove to be quite immersive and interactive. Visitors will be able to test out wands and participate in magic lessons, encounter dementors and the Whomping Willow, uncover their patronus and even get sorted into one of the four Hogwarts houses by the sorting hat.

Additionally, a gift shop will be available with merchandise alongside Harry Potter themed treats such as Butterbeer and chocolate frogs.

Harry Potter: The Exhibition takes place at CambridgeSide. Tickets are available to purchase on the exhibit's website. The cost is $25 for adults and $19 for children plus tax and fees.
