If only she could be all of our moms.

A protective parent in Arizona is allowing her kindergartener to “opt out” of doing his homework — simply because the workload is too stressful, she claims.

A TikTok mother named Cayley took to the popular social media platform to explain how both she and her five-year-old boy were driven to tears over a long-term work packet — estimated to be between 15 and 20 double-sided pages — because of its routine intensity.

“We have been working on it and trying to work to the best of our abilities,” she said to her online audience .

The miffed mama mentioned that she felt overwhelming “guilt” over pushing the tot into doing nothing but work during his off hours.

“I just sent my son’s kindergarten teacher a cutesy little email saying I’m sorry, based on the stress, mental, physical anxiety it’s causing my kid, we are done.”

She also drew a parallel to the professional world where most people get to draw emotional boundaries after “eight to ten hours” on the job, saying the same should go for her little one.

“Work to live, we don’t live to work.”

In the comments of the video, one kindergarten teacher agreed with the philosophy.

“I never sent home homework unless parents specifically asked me and I always let them know it was optional,” they explained.

“I’m so anti-homework – there’s no reason for it,” wrote another.

However, some lectured Cayley as if she were a child herself.

“Your attitude towards school will transfer to your child’s attitude towards school. If you make it seem like an awful chore, they will too,” added one know-it-all.

“I hear this, but then I think how 50% of the population has a 7th grade reading level in the USA,” someone bluntly chimed in.
