    Raiders Have Favorable Schedule Looming

    By Jake Brockhoff,

The Las Vegas Raiders dropped their first game of the season to the Los Angeles Chargers last Sunday. Things didn't go great , and Las Vegas now finds themselves with an 0-2 record.

It doesn't get any easier for Las Vegas in Week 2. They'll hit the road for the second straight week, and take on the Baltimore Ravens . The Raiders are currently massive underdogs , and there's a very real possibility they begin the year with an 0-2 record.

From there, things can start to look a bit dismal. Fortunately for the Raiders and their fans though, things do start to get a bit easier.

After Baltimore, the Raiders' Week 3 opponent is about as easy as it gets. Las Vegas will come home for the first time this year, and host the Carolina Panthers .

Carolina had the worst record in the league last year and looked terrible in their season- opening loss to the New Orleans Saints . This game would be an excellent opportunity for the Raiders to grab their first win of the season.

Afterwards, the Raiders will play at home once again to take on the Cleveland Browns . The Browns don't have a bad roster, but they look brutal on the offensive side of the ball.

Cleveland was expected to have a talented defense this year, but got thrashed in their loss against the Dallas Cowboys . Their offense, led by Deshaun Watson, couldn't get anything going either. This could be a chance for the Raiders to grab another win.

Then, Las Vegas has another relatively easy matchup in Week 5, as they play the Denver Broncos .

While their loss against the Seattle Seahawks was close, Denver looked rough on the offensive side of the ball, and vulnerable on defense as well. The Raiders have been dominant against Denver in recent years, and could get the best of them again in this matchup.

Even if Las Vegas starts the year 0-2, this is a favorable stretch of the schedule, and they could realistically land at a 3-2 record with some wins here.
