As the Baltimore Ravens prepare for their Week 2 matchup, their star quarterback received some flowers from a fellow top-flight NFL player.

    Davante Adams praises Lamar Jackson

For Adams' entire press conference from Wednesday afternoon, click here .

"I found myself watching his highlights in my locker before games. Dude changed the game. In my opinion best ball carrier, ever, no matter the position. He's worked on other parts of his game that have come a long way, too. He's a huge threat."

The All-Pro wideout called Jackson the best ball carrier ever. That's some insanely impressive praise, especially when you consider the throws that Jackson can make on a weekly basis as well.

Clearly, Adams has noticed Jackson's diverse skillset over the years. A mobile QB with a rocket arm was doubted as he entered the pros, but he has proven himself at almost every turn.

It is safe to assume that Adams would love to have Jackson as his quarterback. In recent years, the veteran wideout has dealt with a plethora of inconsistent QB plays in multiple different offenses.

Luckily, Jackson resides in Baltimore as one of the most dynamic QB options in all of football. Adams recognizes his talent, similarly to the rest of the NFL after they ranked him the top QB in all of the league during this offseason.

Yes, he was ranked higher than Patrick Mahomes (4th overall). Jackson was ranked the second-best player in football, only behind Tyreek Hill.

Travis Kelce compliments Jackson, Ravens on podcast

In Baltimore's Week 1 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs, Jackson threw for 273 yards and a score on 26-41 passing and ran for 122 yards on 16 carries. He was nearly unstoppable at times.

Unfortunately, their offense could not quite get it done in the final moments of the game to tie it against KC. That did not sway Kelce towards any sort of disrespect towards them, though.
